Carey Stadium ("The Beach House")

Sixth Street & Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226

Carey Stadium (aka: "The Beach House") - Home of the Ocean City Nor’easters
Located in the shadow of the ferris wheel at Gillian's Wonderland Pier on the
boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. This is the view of the Beach House from the atop the ferris wheel.

Carey Stadium has been the home of the Ocean City Nor'easters since the club's inaugural season in the D-3 Pro League in 1997. Although they played at some different home fields over the years, they made the permanent move to Carey Stadium in 2005. That season, the club's play-by-play announcer Josh Hakala gave the stadium it's nickname of "The Beach House".

One could argue The Beach House is one of the best locations in all of minor league sports in the United States. Ocean City is known as "America's Greatest Family Resort" and Carey Stadium is just a few steps away from the Ocean City boardwalk, under the shadow of the ferris wheel at Gillian's Wonderland.

Fun fact: Located a little more than 200 meters from the Atlantic Ocean, only one minor league sports team in the country plays closer to an ocean than the Nor'easters do (Minor league baseball team Pensacola Blue Wahoos in Pensacola, Fla.)
