Nor'easters Past and Present Selected For USL PRO Combine

The Ocean City Nor’easters are delighted to announce the selection of three of their current stars along with another three Ocean City alumni for the 2014 USL PRO combine. 2013 Eastern Conference Champions Ken Tribbett, Dwayne Reid and Brian Billings are joined in the combine by 2012 All-Conference selection John McCarthy, Jack Bailey and Jonny Dolezal who played in the 2012 and 2011 seasons respectively.

Ken and Brian enter the combine on the back of excellent seasons with their colleges after ending the summer in Ocean City. Ken scored four goals and created another two on the way to being named on the NSCAA 2nd Team All-South Atlantic as well as the All-Championship team for the Colonial Athletic Association, the division he helped Drexel win. Brian built upon his experience with the Nor’easters by being named Missouri Valley Conference MVP for his performances in helping the Bradley Braves to the title. Brian recorded 9 shutouts and over 100 saves for the season as Bradley progressed to the second round of the 2013 NCAA tournament.

The Nor’easters are proud to have such a presence at the 2014 combine, it is yet another indication of our desire and ability to create players to compete at the professional level. We would like to wish all six participants the best of luck and we hope to see them playing in the USL in 2014!
