OCEAN CITY, NJ - The Ocean City Nor’easters are proud to announce the inaugural ‘Blue & Orange Game’, to be played Saturday, May 14 which will kick off at 7:00p.m. in Carey Stadium right off the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk. This will be the first opportunity for supporters to see our 2016 men’s teams in action. The game will include the club's full PDL squad, as well as players from the Under-23 and Under-20 teams. This inter-squad match, like that of the college football spring games, will be a great opportunity for our players and coaches alike to get up to game speed for the 2016 season and have some fun with the fans in the process.

“Every summer, our fans are eager to get to know the players and see the team on the field. The Blue & Orange game is the perfect opportunity,” said Nor'easters general manager Kevin Nuss. “The game gives our supporters a chance to see all of our first-team players, as well as some of our young stars from the U20s and U23s."

While this is a significant opportunity for the players to showcase their skills, it is also a great chance for the fans to meet the team. Fans can meet the team the day of the game at Ocean City’s Spring Block Party from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. or at Chickie’s & Pete’s on the boardwalk from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Fans can also meet the team the day before the Blue and Orange Game at Buffalo Wild Wings at the Hamilton Mall. The day after the match, another meet the team event will be held at Sandi Pointe in Somers Point where there will be a cash bar and an all-you-can-eat menu. At each team event, there will games, prizes, and giveaways including free game tickets.

The club will also be debuting a brand new halftime game, 'Storm Ball', featuring a 6-foot soccer ball. Children will have the chance to get on the field and play during halftime.

“In addition to the Ocean City Spring Block Party, we are happy to be working with our partners; Buffalo Wild Wings, Chickie's & Pete's and Sandi Pointe, to provide our fans a chance to meet our players while also enjoying some delicious food and drinks,” Nuss added.

Information regarding the time of events, food specials, prizes, and giveaways will be announced via Nor'easters social media.
