Kevin Nuss

Kevin joined the Nor’easters in 2011. He started as Assistant Coach before being named Associate Head Coach in January 2014. In addition to his role as Associate Head Coach, Nuss was named General Manager in May 2014. Prior to taking his front office position, Kevin was an Assistant Coach with the Brown University men’s soccer team.

The Nor’easters have enjoyed great success in Kevin’s time with the club.  In his first season on the staff (2012), the Nor’easters were Eastern Conference Champions for the first time.  In 2013, the club repeated as Eastern Conference Champions and played in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, only to be knocked out by a stoppage time goal from the Philadelphia Union (MLS).

Before joining the Nor’easters technical staff, Nuss was an Assistant Coach for St. Joseph’s University men’s soccer team. Prior to serving as assistant coach at St. Joe’s, Nuss was an Assistant Coach under Tim Oswald at Rutgers-Camden for three years. In addition to collegiate and semi-professional experience, Nuss was the Director of Player Development at Highland Youth Soccer Club and Cherry Hill FC.

Before getting into coaching, Kevin played as the starting goalkeeper for William Paterson University and Rowan University.  He was honored as an Adidas/NSCAA First Team Regional All-American and was named as the First Team goalkeeper in both Region XIX and the Garden State Athletic Conference.
