Alfonso Torino's passion and love for soccer developed at the young age of 10 while playing for a club in Rome. Nine years of intense soccer training brought him to the next level where he played in college this ultimately led him to coach youth soccer both in Italy and in New Jersey. Ocean City has been his second home since 1983. Alfonso is married with three children.
Alfonso Torino holds a PhD in History of Architecture of Western Civilization from the University of Rome, Italy; a Bachelor's in Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ and a Diploma of Design and Roman Topography from the Michelangelo Buonarroti Institute in Frascati, Italy. Dr. Torino is chairman of the Interior Design Department in the School of Professional Studies at Berkley College. He has been a Professor in the school since 2005. He received the award of "Faculty of the Year" for the school of Professional Studies in November 2010.
