Ocean City, NJ
|BIO: Three-year letter winner at Ocean City High School|
|Ocean City Nor'easters|
"John has experience at the PDL level and is a local OC boy who not only excelled in HS, but he also has begun to have a fair share of success at the collegiate level. He had a phenomenal season this past year in helping Villanova advance deep into the Big East tournament with the program’s 1st 2 wins in tourney play over USF and Notre Dame. With one year still left with the Wildcats, we hope to continue his development in a strong corps of GK’s to further enhance his chances of taking his team to the NCAA tournament next year. Having coached with Tom Carlin in the past, I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with one of his players."
John is a 6ft 2in goalkeeper who has all the assests to make it at the pro level. Now into his Senior year at Villanova he has spent most of the time as backup. This is, in a large part, to the serious injury he got. This unfortunately forced him out of the Nor’easters as he only completed 2 full games in the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He is now back fighting fit and excited to fight for the PDL starting spot as well as taking back the Villanova number 1 jersey. John has set his sights on an exciting Senior year with the Villanova Wildcats and hopes to lead them to championships.
