First place Ocean City puts unbeaten record on the line

Preview: Nor'easters look to tie club record at Lehigh Valley on Saturday night

The Ocean City Nor'easters travel north to Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday night to take on Lehigh Valley United in a rematch of a midweek clash just a few days ago.

On Wednesday at Carey Stadium ("The Beach House") in Ocean City, N.J., the Nor'easters came back to beat Lehigh Valley, 2-1 on the strength of two goals by second half sub Nicolas Cam Orellana.

If Ocean City is able to win and earn a season sweep over United on Saturday, it will tie the Nor'easters' all-time club record with a 10-game road unbeaten streak.

The Nor'easters enter the game undefeated with a 4-0-1 record, and are sitting alone in first place in the Mid-Atlantic Division, three points clear of West Chester United with a game in hand.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Moravian College in Bethlehem. There will not be a live stream available so fans wanting to follow the game will have to check in with the Nor'easters' Twitter account that will have updates.

While Nicolas Cam Orellana stole the headlines offensively with the two goals on Wednesday and four goals in the last three games, Alessandro Arlotti has also been setting the pace for the Nor'easters offense. Cam Orellana leads the team in goals, but the two are tied in overall points, as Arlotti enters the weekend riding a five-game point streak. After becoming the first Ocean City player to score a goal in each of the first three games of a season, he has added an assist in each of the last two games, including the pass that led to Cam Orellana's game-winning goal in the 81st minute on Wednesday.

Lehigh Valley United has struggled this year as they come into Saturday's match seeking their first win (0-5-1). The season got off to a good start holding Reading United AC to a 1-1 draw in the season opener, but United has lost five straight since then. However, the schedule has been difficult with a home/away matchup against defending division champion West Chester United, a road game against Reading United, a home game against Philadelphia Lone Star FC and a road game against Ocean City.
