Nor'easters return home to Beach House for Sunday night match vs. Jersey Express

The Ocean City Nor'easters are set to host Jersey Express at "The Beach House" on Sunday, June 11, at 7 p.m. The Nor'easters return home after four straight road games which saw them win two and lose two.

Ocean City is coming off a 2-0 away win on Wednesday against Jersey Express. Fredlin "Fredinho" Mompremier and Ismael Noumansana tallied the goals to finish off the road trip on a high note. Todd Morton earned his first PDL clean sheet as the Nor'easters (4-2-0) entered the weekend tied with Reading United for second place in the Mid-Atlantic Division.

The Nor'easters enter Sunday night's game riding a four-game home winning streak dating back to last year.

Jersey Express sit in sixth place with just three points in five matches this season. Ignacio Tellechea leads Ocean City with three goals so far this season, one of which was recently awarded the PDL Goal of the Month award for the month of May. The Spaniard's free kick from the right wing in the season opener (May 19) caught Evergreen's goalkeeper off guard from the corner to win the weeklong vote for the best goal in the month of May.

Akeil Barrett leads the Nor'easters with two assists on the year.

Mamadou Guirassy leads Jersey Express with two goals on the season.

With a win, the Ocean City Nor'easters would earn their first three-game winning streak against the Express in a rivalry that dates back to 2008. A win combined with a New York Red Bulls U23s loss would pull the Storm back into a first place tie in the division standings.
