Mandy Moracca Joins Banshees for 2006 Season

The South Jersey Banshees are delighted to have Mandy Morraca join the organization for the 2006 season. Mandy is a South Jersey product who has been very successful in all aspects of the soccer hiarchey.  Mandy followed a stellar High School career by signing with NCAA D1 Power house North Carolina. Mandy  also has national team expereince having played for the US National Team from 2002-2004. In 2004 she played for the U17 national teams appearing in 5 games.

The South Jersey Banshees are delighted to have Mandy Morraca join the organization for the 2006 season. Mandy is a South Jersey product who has been very successful in all aspects of her soccer career.  While at Gloucester Catholic High School she earned All-State, All-South Jersey and All-Parochial three times, was named to the All-Area 2001-2004, and was named to the New Jersey Top 20. She was selected the South Jersey Coaches Association Offensive Player of the Year and  Cloucester County Player of the Year in 2004 and was a member ot the Asscociated Press and Newark Star Leger All-State team. She was a Courier Post and Clay nominee in 2001,2002 and 2003 and in 2005 Mandy was named the Clay Soccer Player of the Year. Mandy was named a Parade All-American 2002,2003,2005.

While at UNC Chapel Hill Mandy was considered a key addition the the Tar Heels playing forward and midfield. Mandy is a member of the U-17 National Team camp in July 2004 and was a member of full national teams in 2002-04.  She earned a spot on the U-17 National  Team in 2003-2004 and appeared in 5 games.

Mandy will be a major asset to our program having had experience at the highest level being a member of the Tar Heels, the U-17 National Team and playing for the PA Strikers, a top youth club in Pennsylvania.  It is also nice to welcome Mandy back into the fold having been a member of our Banshee youth club and was instrumental in helping  them reach the state finals and win various tournament championships.
