The Premier Development League (PDL) released its first edition of the Top 50 Prospects list as they identify and rank the top pro prospects among the league's 72 teams across North America. Among those players, two current Ocean City Nor'easters players were ranked in the Top 25.

Ocean City defender Nikola Fimic (Oklahoma Wesleyan / Novi Sad, Serbia) is ranked No. 21 on the list. Fimic enjoyed success in his freshman season at Oklahoma Wesleyan. He was part of a team that won 19 games and had only one loss and he was named to the NAIA All-American Third Team.

Ignacio Tellechea (West Virginia Tech / Madrid, Spain), one of Ocean City's leading scorers is ranked No. 28. In college last season, Tellechea scored 20 goals and dished out nine assists in 23 games at West Virginia Tech as the NAIA school reached the Elite Eight of the national tournament. He will be transferring to UC Santa Barbara in the fall.

In addition, there are three former Nor'easters who made the list: Mutaya Mwape (Charlotte Eagles) is No. 20, Martim Galvao (Nashville SC U23s) is No. 9 and Jorge Guinovart (Reading United AC) was on the list at No. 30 but has since fallen off the list.

Mwape and Galvao both played for Ocean City last year and Guinovart was the Nor'easters team MVP in 2015. CHECK OUT THE FULL LIST HERE
