Past Nor’easters Interns:

"I was primarily responsible for all things gameday, and all team equipment/apparel needs. I was part of an intern team that helped out with almost every aspect of the club's day-to-day operations, including marketing, community relations, social media and more. Each day allowed me to learn a new aspect of the club's operations both on and off the field. And as far as summer internships go, it doesn't get much better than spending the summer just a few hundred feet away from the beach in Ocean City."

- Peter Bader, Operations / Equipment Manager Intern

Peter used his experience with the Nor'easters to move on to jobs with the Richmond Kickers (USL), D.C. United (MLS) and Loudoun United FC (USL).

“Interning for the Nor'easters proved to be a dynamic and invaluable opportunity for me. The smaller size of the front office lends itself to collaboration with not just other interns but with the Owner, GM, Ocean City community, and even the players themselves. I was empowered by the organization to bring new ideas to the table each day. This internship directly contributed to my opportunity to work with other professional sports organizations and influenced my decision to pursue a graduate degree in Sports Industry Management.”

- Daniel O’Connell, Front Office Administrative Intern.

Daniel has gone on to work for NYCFC (Major League Soccer), Columbia University's athletic department, the Pawtucket Pawsox (Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate), and, more recently, the New York Yankees.

“Working with the Nor’easters was an incredibly vital experience for me. Not only was I able to write stories and work with members of the Front Office and Technical Staff, but I was able to give insight and opinions on several occasions about the different aspects of communication within the club.  I had never expected to be so directly involved with the everyday functions of the club.”

- Zach Rayment, Communications Intern

Zach has moved on to work primarily in the broadcasting field, in addition to working as a freelance sports writer. He is currently an on-air music host with Thunder 106 in Central Jersey.
