Another Successful Season For Ocean City Rec Soccer

This Saturday saw The Ocean City Nor'easter's Fall Soccer program come to an end in Ocean City. Over the last 8 weeks the Nor'easters trainers have held fun and educational soccer sessions for over 230 local kids from the ages of 3 to 14 as well as overseeing games between the storm-themed teams. The Nor'easters are proud to play such a big role in their local community and look forward to continuing to develop soccer in the area as they look to help produce future Nor'easters stars!

Nor'easters Assistant Coach Christos Economopoulos, who oversaw the program, was delighted with the way the Fall season went, stating "Ocean City Soccer this Fall was a great success, despite some cold and wet Friday nights and Saturday mornings I think the kids and parents coaches did themselves proud. I would like to thank the parent coaches for their help throughout the season as well as the city of Ocean City for the facilities, equipment and general assistance. 2015 will see Ocean City expand the recreational program and continue to develop young players. Ocean City has a hunger for soccer and a passion to learn and long may it continue."
